Cats Purr has Healing Powers?

I came across this article of the healing powers of a cat’s purr and how the ancient Egyptians utilized that power. It also got me thinking about my own cat and somehow when I am around him when I am upset or stressed, (his name is Garfield and yes he is orange) calms me down dramatically. Whether Garfield rubs his body on my legs, gives me soft sweet blinks, or puts his little paw on me like a feline reassurance that everything will be ok. It instantly would calm me down like some sort of mystical power. I do believe that animals do possess more healing powers that humans are yet to realize. Take a look at this article below and let me know if you believe it or not. Enjoy.
