“Your miracle is never in what you lost – it’s in what you have left!” – Pastor T.D. Jakes.
Today is Monday! Ahhhh! Depending on how you look at things you either woke up excited, ready to conquer the day or if you are like myself you need a strong boost of something positive to start your day. I start my day with a hot shower and Christian music from K-love to get me in the “I’M READY” type of feeling, especially on Mondays after a long weekend.
Here are some biblical scriptures that can help boost your mood when you’re feeling down. God is the only one who can take that extreme pressure off you when people seem to make matters worse. Remember Jesus is here to help you if you seek Him and pray:
‘Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak; And let come on me what will. Wherefore should I take my flesh in my teeth, And put my life in my hand? Behold, he will slay me; I have no hope: Nevertheless I will maintain my ways before him. This also shall be my salvation, That a godless man shall not come before him. ‘ Job 13:13-16
‘And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose. ‘ Romans 8:28
‘Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit. ‘ John 15:2
‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit. ‘ John 12:24
‘And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. ‘ Luke 9:23
‘that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death; if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead. ‘ Philippians 3:10-11
‘and he said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah. ‘ Job 1:21
‘And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.’ Matthew 26:39
‘And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground. ‘ Luke 22:44
‘Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. ‘ Hebrews 12:1-2
“Are you willing to leave behind yesterday’s fruit so that you can embrace the wine of tomorrow’s new season?” – Pastor T.D. Jakes
Whatever you faced today, tomorrow, or whatever day you feel particularly down, just remember this: your struggles are a part of a plan that God has for you to make you better and to fulfill His plan for your life. Isn’t this so comforting to know? Please share this with someone you know TODAY that can use an extra boost of positivity through Jesus!
Good bless you all.
