True Love

True love is standing up for what is right,
Even if a million people argue it’s wrong!

True love is sticking to your guns,
Even if everyone tells you to back down!
True love is not excepting the norm,
Even if that is all you have!
True love believes in a higher power,
Even if others refuse to accept it exists!
True love is hugging a stranger tight,
Even when they try so hard to get set free!
True love is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior,
Even if a million people disagree!
True love is never denying your Father,
Even if you mean giving up your friends and family!
The truth is that we should love one another as Jesus loves me!

Seize the Day!

“Seize the day!” How many times have you heard someone say this to you? Everyday? Once a week? Once a month? Once a year? I’m sure you have heard it many times throughout your life, however, did anyone ever give you some pointers on how to achieve this? Well for me I have heard this quote many times in English and in Latin, but never really understood how until NOW.

God can teach you how to achieve this through biblical scriptures! Also pray for courage, strength, and understanding from Jesus. Patience and discipline are also key! Like many, I am guilty of feeling discouraged most of the time until I remember one simple thing: I AM NOT ALONE! Jesus is on my side rooting from me to SUCCEED, even when it seems like no one else is.

Here are 7 Biblical Verses that can help you “Seize the day” through the love and strength of Jesus Christ:

1. ‘But let each man prove his own work, and then shall he have his glorying in regard of himself alone, and not of his neighbor. For each man shall bear his own burden. ‘ Galatians 6:4-5

2. ‘Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ‘ Philippians 4:8

3. ‘And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided. ‘ Genesis 22:14

4. ‘And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. ‘ Matthew 16:18

5. ‘Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.’ Psalms 19:14

6. ‘Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. ‘ Proverbs 16:24

7. ‘I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me. ‘ Philippians 4:13

Be the Light in Someone’s Darkness Today

“Your miracle is never in what you lost – it’s in what you have left!”Pastor T.D. Jakes.

Today is Monday! Ahhhh! Depending on how you look at things you either woke up excited, ready to conquer the day or if you are like myself you need a strong boost of something positive to start your day. I start my day with a hot shower and Christian music from K-love to get me in the “I’M READY” type of feeling, especially on Mondays after a long weekend.

Here are some biblical scriptures that can help boost your mood when you’re feeling down. God is the only one who can take that extreme pressure off you when people seem to make matters worse. Remember Jesus is here to help you if you seek Him and pray:

‘Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak; And let come on me what will. Wherefore should I take my flesh in my teeth, And put my life in my hand? Behold, he will slay me; I have no hope: Nevertheless I will maintain my ways before him. This also shall be my salvation, That a godless man shall not come before him. ‘ Job 13:13-16

‘And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose. ‘ Romans 8:28

‘Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit. ‘ John 15:2

‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit. ‘ John 12:24

‘And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. ‘ Luke 9:23

‘that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death; if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead. ‘ Philippians 3:10-11

‘and he said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah. ‘ Job 1:21

‘And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.’ Matthew 26:39

‘And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground. ‘ Luke 22:44

‘Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. ‘ Hebrews 12:1-2
“Are you willing to leave behind yesterday’s fruit so that you can embrace the wine of tomorrow’s new season?” – Pastor T.D. Jakes

Whatever you faced today, tomorrow, or whatever day you feel particularly down, just remember this: your struggles are a part of a plan that God has for you to make you better and to fulfill His plan for your life. Isn’t this so comforting to know? Please share this with someone you know TODAY that can use an extra boost of positivity through Jesus!

Good bless you all.

Victim vs. Victor

How many times has life not gone your way and you got anger at God or questioned His existence or love for you? If you have you are not alone, luckily God is alive and he cares and loves you very much. God is not the cause of your issues. A disconnect with Him plus evil lurking in your ear speaking lies IS. Reading the Bible and praying to Him sincerely from your heart is the only remedy to get on track to recovery and to stay there. Jesus never said that things would be easy but he offers us His help. We are truly never alone if we look to Him.

And Jesus looking upon them said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. ‘ Matthew 19:26

‘Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them: for Jehovah thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. And Jehovah will deliver them up before you, and ye shall do unto them according unto all the commandment which I have commanded you.Deuteronomy 31:5-6

‘fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.Isaiah 41:10

‘These things have I spoken unto you, while yet abiding with you. But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.John 14:25-27

‘Jehovah is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When evil-doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, Even mine adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell. Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident. Psalms 27:1-3

Next time you are feeling hopeless and catching you thinking like a “victim” refers to these scriptures for hope, love, faith, and guidance through Jesus Christ! With Him we can all be glorious and can achieve spiritual VICTORY in our lives.

God bless you all!

Making Time, Wasted Time

Trying to figure out the value of time. Some days I feel like I have plenty of time. Other days time seems to be slipping away. Not sure what to make of today. Not sure what tomorrow will bring. So many things I want to do, so many things I want to try. One moment I feel hope, I feel strength, anything is possible. The next moment I feel sorrow and pain. Like too much time has gone by and I feel worthless inside. I am a young woman I know only 28 years old, with a soul of a warrior that has faced many battles. A wise but gently tortured soul who cares about other people’s pain more then her own. The clock is ticking with no intention to stop. Time is not wasted if you learn. Learn what you want and learn from experiences. Learn who to trust and learn who will make time more valuable. Human life does not last long, when we figure out the value of our time it runs out. Dwelling on time would drive me insane. Just have to learn to let go and live life without staring at the sand hour glass. For when the sand runs out if we are willing and lucky, we can flip the hour glass around. Starting another chapter of our limit-full life hoping this time around life will be limitless. My time isn’t wasted and my choices weren’t squander. It helps mold me into the person I am meant to be.
