Midnight Rain

I’m listening to the midnight rain.

The sounds of comfort to dull away the pain.

Nothing will ever remain quit the same.

I’m listening to the sounds of thunder.

The rumbling noise feels like it’s coming from down under.

Lying here thinking, Wow such a great wonder!

I’m listening to the sounds of sirens and cars racing by.

Trying to control my mind from continuous thinking, all my thoughts on a high.

When my head is on a pillow all the questions of the day start with, Why? Then ends with a big sigh.

I’m listening to the words of encouragement and hope in my head.

Still laying awake not quit asleep yet next to hubby snoring in bed.

Insomnia is an unwelcomed visitor, what more is to be said.

I’m reliving all of my past regrets and shame.

No one I can turn to and no one to release me from the blame.

Boy, I hope your not thinking that this rhyming poem is lame.

I’m sinking into sleep now my dream has come true.

No sugar plum fairies dancing in my head just thoughts of my boo.

There’s no more to write, say, or do.

Good night all, peace and one love to you.

3 A.M. Poem

It’s 3 a.m. and I’m wide awake.

Somebody give me an ambien for goodness sake!

Maybe I will drift off to sleep if I think of a nice, peaceful lake.

All these thoughts racing in my mind and in my head.

The reason for all of this tossing and turning in the bed.

All these thoughts need to be recorded, they must be said!

I’m really sick and tired of this so called “woke” culture.

The angry, hungry mob circling around like vultures.

Controlling what people are allowed to say, molding the youth like clay sculptures.

Rewarding what’s evil and prosecuting what’s good.

Everyone seems to be misunderstood.

Whining about nonsense instead of building up their neighborhoods.

TV is fake and the advertisements are indoctrination.

Trying their best to poison an entire generation.

Trying to destroy our society and civilization!

If you think prosecuting someone’s beliefs and speaking lies is ok to do.

Then you are a part of the problem and that is true.

I’m only trying to warn you because a know most of you have no clue.

Trampling on the rights of others and making people feel guilty of who they are.

Saying rude things to strangers on social media, how bizarre.

Something tells me a lot of these people in life didn’t get very far.

I refuse to apologize for my faith over fear.

I refuse to not give up even if has been a rough year.

It doesn’t matter what I’m going through their is still a reason to cheer.

I praise God everyday and thank Him for what I do have.

I praise God for my husband, with marriage a whole becomes to halves.

Our dream is one day have a farm with chickens, goats, and calves.

Be strong and don’t be afraid of the angry leftist mob.

They can’t do anything to harm you if you have faith in God.

In the Bible it says He will strike your enemies down with his mighty rod!

He said in the Bible that whoever longs for righteousness shall seek.

No, I’m not a religious fanatic or an extremist, but a proud Jesus freak.

The good news is one day the earth will belong to the meek.

Don’t let them scramble your brain.

Remember repeating the same actions and expecting a different result is the definition of insane!

Depression and negative thoughts met their match because there is always sunshine after the rain.

7 Ways on How to Cope with Sleepless Nights

If you are like me or most people in this world today you battle with sleepless nights on regular bases. I’m sure you have tried all the remedies with little or no luck, but have you ever just given your insomniac issues up to God? It’s funny how we search and try out solutions from ourselves or others instead of just asking God what to do. This use to be a major struggle for me and still is at times, however I have learned through reading the Bible and praying that we can give God our worries and let him figure it out. Amen!
God actually wants us to look to Him for guidance and He is more than happy to help us out with anything that we are struggling with ANYTHING. Isn’t that a huge weight and comfort to know this? It sure was for me, so now I am passing on the GOOD NEWS. Take a look at seven ways on how to cope with your sleepless nights:

1. Give every anxiety to Him in prayer.
‘If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you. ‘ John 15:7

2. Pray for others.
‘doing nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself; not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others. ‘ Philippians 2:3-4

3. Commit scripture to memory.
‘For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline. ‘
2 Timothy 1:7

4. Think about ways you can help others within your community.
‘Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. ‘
Galatians 6:2

5. Praise God for His faithfulness.
‘Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father. Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth. ‘
John 4:21-24

6. Read a soul lifting book like the Bible.

7. Give the coming day over to God.
‘fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.Isaiah 41:10

Bible Scriptures for Insomnia & Worry

Let me know if the method of faith, prayer, and patience helped you catch those extra Z’s. I would also like to hear your trials and tribulations when it comes to your “sleepless nights” and the methods that you use to try to get some nice restful sleep. Remember to always give it up to God first then He will guide you.

God bless you all.

Reflection of the Mind

My mind is racing, tired from the process.

My mind is calm, blank, and lonely.

Waiting for relief, waiting for something to give.

My body who is not aware of the endless battle I face.

A battle I seem to be loosing, of faith and positivity.

Eyes start to wey and water, ears itch, and head throbs.

My mind tries to count sheep, listen to ocean waves, birds chirping.

I pray my thoughts will subside.

The day only begins when one gets rest,
